In Turkey, Binance launches its first customer service center | Weenax

The largest crypto exchange in terms of trading volumes, Binance, is going to open the first customer service center in Turkey. The company’s representatives revealed that Turkey was chosen as a location for the new center because of the high volume of traffic which the exchange is getting from this country.

More than 7% of Binance users are from Turkey. The clients will be provided with round-the-clock through a mobile app.

The management of the exchange plans to roll out the service globally if the сenter in Turkey benefits the company and is in demand among users.

Binance also wants to put an end to fraud cases, so the service center will be available only via mobile app.

Changpeng Zhao, the head of the company, noted that for now there is only text chat in the app. But in future an option to make calls through the app will be added.

Binance is working to strengthen its presence in the Middle East. So the opening of the customer service center is a subsequent step for this goal. Previously, the company was awarded with operating permits by Dubai and Bahrain’s regulators. Abu Dhabi also gave the exchange the right to operate on its territory.

In addition to this, the company expands its presence in countries of Eastern Europe. Earlier this year, new directors in Russia and Ukraine were appointed.

Binance will not impose any bans for Russian users amid sanctions applied against Russia. The representatives of the company claimed that access limitation to crypto goes against the main principles of the industry.

Binance also wants to become a licensed crypto exchange and establish a headquarters. Zhao said that the office of the company may be opened in France, the UAE or Ireland, but the decision has not been taken yet.
